Grazing Muzzle with Halter

Grazing muzzles have become popular in recent years as a way to control the intake of an overweight or prone to founder horse or pony, without the negative side effects of confining a horse to a stall. Horses can still graze through an opening in the muzzle, but are only able to eat about 30-50% as much grass as they would without. Horses using a grazing muzzle can drink and socialize normally.

Soft muzzles are also appropriate for horses who chew bandages, bite, or crib.

The Centaur Grazing Muzzle has a PVC over closed-cell foam-padded noseband and a built-in breakaway halter. The halter is widely adjustable and has a plastic snap for breakaway safety. This is a medium weight, grazing muzzle with a firm rubber base designed for daily use.
