Birthday Cake perfect for horses.<\/p>\n<p><p>The challenge was to create a birthday cake that would keep it&#8217;s shape using horse-friendly ingredients. The final result is pictured above- the best part about this horse birthday cake is that no baking is required!<\/p>\n<p><\/font><\/p>\n<p><b><font size=\"+1\">Here are the steps for cooking this No Bake Horse Birthday Cake Recipe:<\/font><\/b><br \/><font size=\"-2\">Recipe will need adjusted based on pan size, ratios may need adjusted for consistency, this recipe is adaptable!<\/font><\/p>\n<ul><font size=\"-1\"><b>What you will need:<\/b> <\/p>\n<li>3-5 carrots\n<li>2 cups oats\/oatmeal or sweet feed\n<li>1 cup marshmallows\n<li>2 Tbs Molasses (optional)\n<li>marshmallow shapes (optional)<\/ul>\n<p> 1. Chop finely or process in your food processor 3-5 medium sized carrots. (you can substitute or add processed\/chopped lettuce, corn, celery, or pumpkin if you know your horse has a taste for them) <\/p>\n<p>2. Prepare your pan. For this no-bake horse birthday cake recipe you&#8217;ll need a well greased pan. The birthday cake pictured was made using a small saucepan. Spray your pan with cooking spray then, if desired, place shaped marshmallows around edges. <\/p>\n<p>3. Next, combine 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats (Non-Instant Oatmeal &#8211; sweet feed may be substituted) with the processed vegetables. <\/p>\n<p>4. In a separate microwave safe bowl, add 1 cup small marshmallows and 2 Tbs molasses (optional). Microwave 30 seconds at a time until totally melted. <\/p>\n<p>5. Pour marshmallow mixture over carrots and oats, stir. The mixture should have the consistency of warm rice krispie treats. Let cool slightly.<\/p>\n<p>6. Carefully spoon mixture into greased pan (pushing around marshmallow shapes, as needed). With a greased spoon, compress mixture into pan.<\/p>\n<p>7. Let cool completely, then bump pan to plop shaped birthday cake out. Decorate with remaining carrot shreds or marshmallow shapes.<\/p>\n<p>8. Feed and enjoy! This recipe makes 2-4 servings for your horse&#8217;s birthday party guests! Feeding the entire cake to your horse at once is not advisable and may make them sick! (Although it will keep, without refrigeration, for 2-3 days)<\/p>\n<p><p align=\"center\"><b><font size=\"+1\">Horse-Safe Cake Icing!<\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<p>To make icing for your Horse Cake, take <b>1\/2 cup plain unsweetened yogurt<\/b> and add <b>oat flour<\/b>, tablespoon by tablespoon, until the mixture is stiff but still soft.
