Turn any traditional nylon halter into a safety breakaway halter, or repair one of the breakaway halters we offer.

This leather link with included chicago screw can turn any halter into a safety halter. Simply cut off the nylon piece connecting the halter's cheek O ring to the buckle and replace with this soft leather piece designed to breakaway in an emergency. This leather link is hidden by excess crown when in use.

Review Text: A must have item!! My daughter is in Pony Club and they are required to have breakaway halters. We took some of our old ugly haters and dyed them our team colors with RIT dye and installed these breakaway links and ended up recycling unused halters into beautiful Pony Club approved halters for only a few bucks! Well worth the price and super easy to install! Highly recommended for any one in need of a breakaway halter
